City Guide Book Cover & Spine
In this project, I designed a poster and cover and spine for a city guide book featuring Riga, Latvia. All the artwork was created using Adobe Illustrator. The goal of this project, as outlined by the LIAA, was to promote Riga as a desirable destination for a weekend getaway, and to increase tourismto the city. The design is intended to inform potential visitors about the city's attractions, encourage them to choose Riga as their destination, and highlight the unique features and experiences the city has to offer.
The color scheme for the design is triadic, featuring a combination of blue, teal, and yellow.These colors work together to create a visually engaging and emotionally impactful design. Additionally, the font used in the design is Fino Sans, which is both versatile and visually interesting, making it suitable for both display and body text.
